DeltaIVA, it sounds like YOU weren't ready the competitiveness for UT recruitment. Trust me, I've been where you once were in thinking my race played a factor but that didn't stop me from finding my niche. It sounds like you expected them to give you a bid because you're a "hot commodity". In reality you (and those other Indian girls in recruitment with you) were probably never handed rejection like this and since you haven't you use the only thing YOU SEE that makes you different. You weren't there for Membership voting, but I guarantee that no chapter votes a person "no" based on race.

Think about it this way, what if you HAD received a bid to your "dream chapter," would you have pinned it on your race? Probably not, because in this case you got what you wanted. Would we hear you playing the race card? Would you come on here warning minority PNM's about the woes of rushing? Again, Probably not.
