"Dear Writer" =

Charlotte Bronte returns. See Jane Eyre, last chapter/Conclusion .... "Reader, I married him." One of my favorite lines from a classic novel. However, it was first published in 1847.

Most certainly. Although, I must say I hate the "DD" "DS" DH" whatever thing.

Ok...so now pm me and give me your names on CC. I got to know. Yes, I am so old that I have one because I would forget who I am in any given thread.

So...were you involved in the Parent thread that exploded awhile back? You know the one: Let's hate all GLOs, get rid of them, and no one nice is in a fraternity or sorority?
That was one heck of a fight.

Some forums commonly used "DD" for Dear or Darling Daughter, DS (son), DH (husband), etc. Multiple DDs are distinguished by age.

I'm just not a fan of the practice. It comes off as fake cutsey (much like the person who said "Dear writer") and well just fake all around.

I usually just stick to H, S1 and S2 ... in my case, the D stands for "Damned" half the time.

Alright, if this is how y'all respond to a brutally honest story, I'm not inclined to make the effort to type it all up. If you'd like more details, feel free to PM me.

To get straight to the point- I was heavily dropped after missing most of the round 2 parties. It was humbling and my return to White Queen made me feel wrong about my initial impressions, and I actually had an enjoyable time there. I was dropped after Round 3. But I was very lucky and humbled to pref at Blue Caterpillar and Tweedledee, both amazing sororities that I was absolutely torn between, especially with my mother pushing for Tweedledee. However, I am now...

Attention whoring. Please, please you meanies feed my ego and beg me to stay and post the rest of my story. Now all of the sudden you're posting about being "humbled" etc etc. You were probably cut because you're shallow, rude and immature. That doesn't equal brutally honest.
