Yah, see I found that the girls were directing more questions at me because I have an interesting story that is obvious straight away and then the girl would always awkwardly ask the same question to the other girl. In one conversation I felt so bad for the other girl I started asking her questions. It just all felt so uncomfortable.

Yeah, that sounds like the sisters needed to be a little more schooled on how to do this effectively. Some smaller chapters do 2 sisters:3 PNMs and I think that's less likely to turn trainwrecky.

I'm looking forward to hearing the rest of the story, I hope you find your home!
How odd that you have gotten so many strange comments! I am wondering...are you British? Not because of the strange comments, just because of some of your spellings/phrases.

Hey, I ended up dropping out on pref day. I went to all 5 houses I had left on skit day and absolutely fell in love with Canada. On pref day I was invited back to three houses, but Canada had cut me. I still had Egypt left, but just could not see myself fitting in here and I'd never liked the other two houses (Australia and Greece) and had tried to drop them from day 1. I'm a bit disappointed and maybe I'll end up regretting dropping out when I still had Egypt left.

Like I hinted at earlier and like some of you guessed, I am in fact British. I'm here as an exchange student for a year. I was warned before recruitment began that there would be a strong chance I would be dropped by everyone after day 1, due to only being around for a year and recruitment is pretty competitive here... A lot of girls on my floor were cut by everyone/dropped out. I think one of the problems is that there are 3 houses were are seen to be a lot worse than the others. If girls have high gpas they get invited back to their top 10 on first invite and drop those bottom 3 houses. Then the next day a lot of them get cut completely and have no houses left. Reputation matters here quite a bit. A lot of girls have their hearts set on Canada or Brazil and get very upset and drop out when they get cut from those houses. I hadn't even heard any reputations and don't have the pressure of being a legacy/coming from a high school where you know from a young age which houses you must join or not go greek at all, but it was very obvious just from visiting the houses.

I'm glad that I got to experience this crazy side of American culture college and I had fun doing it. I went in to recruitment not expecting a bid, so to have been invited back to my favourite house up until pref was a compliment. Maybe I should have continued to bid day, but it would have been a lot of money for something I really wasn't sure about.
