My daughter just pledged Delta Delta Delta!!! That makes three generations now, as my mom and I are both Tridelts!! I sent her to Bama with strict instructions to keep an open mind...to pledge for the girls in the house and not the letters above the door. And she did exactly that! The fact that she found a home where she's happy is what truly matters. The fact that it just so happens to be TriDelt is the icing on the cake!! Huge congrats to all the houses and all the new pledges at Bama...

I just saw the new pledge class picture for Alpha Phi, it looks like we have around 100 new members!

DDD Mom of 3- 5 years ago my daughter went through recruitment and chose to be a GphiB, it will be a wonderful experience for the two of you!

I just heard from my daughter, an ADPi @ Bama--- they got 98 new Alphas (she thinks)! She didn't know yet what actual quota was this year, but knew they got quota plus several extras. Awesome new girls she says! A great return rate all week! Wow! A great rush again this year! Way to go, ADPi! Congrats to all the new girls and parents (in every sorority)---I know you are all excited and glad this week is finally over!
Btw, our hometown girl that had to leave mid-week, is a new Alpha!

I am getting chills thinking about all these large pledge classes and quota additions. A big round of applause to Gentry, Kat, UA Panhellenic Executive board, Rho Chis, J-Board and the UA administration!
These young ladies are going to make lifetime friendships! Imagine pledge class reunions and all the legacies to come in the next generation!
A big congrats to my Gamma Phi girls. Being a younger chapter (21 years old -- haha, they're "legal") is a challenge at UA, even with GPB's national prestige. But they came through with flying colors and I am SO proud to be an Epsilon Lambda chapter alum.
On another note, just imagine what all those UA fraternity men are thinking -- think their pledging numbers will go up a lot this fall too, for access to all these beautiful young ladies?

I couldn't be more proud of my Gamma Phi chapter at Bama! That is awesome!!!! You are making this Charter member very proud (1989 seems like a long time ago). Can't wait to visit the house for the games and see all those beautiful girls. Roll Tide!
Any idea what that makes the House total?

Well folks, after a long and stressful week I am so happy to report that my fav Bama PNM is one of those awesome Gamma Phi Beta new members!!!! She was so excited. She had few options even after round one but LOVED GPB and they were all so cute today. She's so excited to be in that group and off they go on their retreat. A HOT day in Tuscaloosa but worth the trip.

Glad to hear everyone's good news.
Ours didn't go so well. My daughter fell through - she was one of the few who didn't get a bid. I was glad I was there this morning for her; although the day had a decidedly different tone than what we both were hoping for.
Guess with all the full houses there won't be many snap bids or spring rush bids.
Oh well, perhaps the new expansion sorority (Delta Gamma?) or again next fall as a more experienced sophomore.
Thanks to all for the great thread and congrats to the new pledges.
