Bleh. That still sounds dumb to me. I am used to hearing about road/roid rage, but I've never heard it in that context before.

MC reminded me of another phrase -- shawty/shorty. We can thank trap music for bringing that to the forefront.

I do like it used here though lol

I guess for me, even when I was in college, from my freshman year until I graduated, I never did drink/smoke weed or hang out with people when they were drunk/high. I'm not saying they weren't cool people to hang around when they were sober, because they were. It was only when they would get drunk/high, and I wasn't trying to be around any of that. If someone is not in their right frame of mind, and is reeking of alcohol/weed or whatever, I just can't be around that. That's never been cool to me. It isn't now, and it never will be. That's just not my type of crowd.

ETA: No disrespect to folks on here who do drink, get drunk/high. If that's your thing...cool, roll with it.

I partied when I was younger, but I just feel like routinely getting wasted is the domain of freshmen...so being around people my own age who think they're 18 irritates me. It was cool 5 years ago. 5. That should tell you something. To me, being 23/24+ and acting 18 is kind of sad.

Also because I'm not out getting drunk, drunk people irritate me. That's how it goes for pretty much everyone who is sober and surrounded by drunk people I suppose.

I dont know if its been said already or not, but I hate it when people misprounounce words, like "supposably." NOT A WORD!

It makes me grit my teeth when the reflexive pronoun, myself, is used in the subject of a sentence or as an object.

I also hate it when people say and write might of. It's might've, a contraction for might have. I admit that if you're just writing and not thinking about spelling and grammar, it's easy to write the word, of, instead of the contraction.

This one is not a grammar gripe. This is definately a stupid thing people say without thinking because they feel so uncomfortable and have no idea what they should say thing. I hate it when people say (and I heard this a lot when my husband died) God never gives you more than you can handle. I won't go into all the reasons this did not make me feel better.

Honestly I don't think it makes anyone feel better but the person who says it. If that.

So sorry for the lost of your husband.

With you on all of these.

For me, it's "black or white". In other words, it either is or it isn't. I don't think age has anything to do with it. To me, drunk is drunk. When I was in undergrad, I partied too, but what does a party have to do with getting drunk and acting like a fool?

I agree with you to an extent, and I'm certainly not saying your thoughts are wrong, because they're not. But for me, I feel that "routinely getting wasted" is the domain of an idiot, regardless of age (to me). As far as it being cool "5 years ago" or however many years ago is concerned, that really doesn't tell me anything, because it never has been cool, to me, and it still isn't. I don't care how old the person is. I wouldn't say they irritate me because I don't and won't go around them. I can't be irritated by a fool if I'm not around one. Again, I agree with you, I just don't think it has anything to do with age. A drunk is a drunk, and a fool is a fool, to me.
