No, it's not what is generally accepted as "literature" currently, but I can see it going the way of Narnia or Lord of the Rings (or so I hope, either way my kids will be familiar with HP haha). I think it's an excellent example of storytelling for late 20th/early 21 C. Many of what we consider books of literary merit started off as "dime" novels, that were not widely respected at all.
I asked myself the same thing--I didn't want to be wondering, "what if?". Yeah I have about two weeks to go, I'm trying to figure out all of my clothes still, I keep changing my mind...I may have to make a stop to Diagon Alley to grab some shoes or robes you know

I've heard great things about Dr. Who, I'll watch it eventually, maybe over break, I have too many shows to follow as it is.
