If you do not receive a bid, you will be notified by your recruitment counselor BEFORE Bid Day so you know not to show up.

I suggest that you read the stickies in the recruitment forums to learn more about the recruitment process and then ask questions. You may also want to do a search for your specific school or check your school's greek life website for more school-specific information.
