Local Chapter??

Hello all!

My name is Johanna....everyone calls me JoJo though. I was wondering if there is a local chapter that I can join? I live about 10 minutes from Baton Rouge, LA. I've already contacted Beta Sigma Phi's member services about this, but haven't heard from them yet. I'm so excited to have found a great organization like Beta Sigma Phi. I've been looking for a long time for a sisterhood to call my own! I look forward to ::HOPEFULLY:: become a sister!!!

I'm excited to see your enthusiasm for our sorority. I've met dear friends through Beta Sigma Phi, and I always get excited when new women find their way to this organization.

Be patient. It can take a little while to make contact with chapters.

I'm now involved in a friendly venture. You could potentially friendly venture if you don't find a chapter. I'm originally from Louisiana (Southwest part), however, in my search for a chapter near me in Louisiana, the selection was slim. It takes 5 members to friendly venture a chapter and you could call International and see about getting a list of MAL's and call them to see who would be interested in friendly venturing.

Baton Rouge's City Council consists of many different chapters. I was a member of Lambda Alpha chapter in Denham Springs for a while before I moved to the Lafayette area. Most of the CC meetings take place at the library on Jones Creek road. I don't remember which day though. Check with them to se if you can get any contact information from them. Good luck!

I am currently an online college student and looking at wanting to become a member of Beta Sigma Phi and I am needing to find a local Chapter here in Florida.. Could anyone direct me in the right direction?

Hi, Jill. Sorry that this reply is late in coming! Have you contact International yet? They should be your first step. They will enter you in their database and distribute your contact information to existing chapters in your area.
