eBay - NOT an Alpha Phi badge! Bid with caution

Hello sisters,

I just wanted to give you all the head's up about thelistingmonkey's auction for item 370388354621. While it has an alpha on top of a phi, it is most definitely not from our fraternity. It may be from the now-defunct high school fraternity with the same letters (and nearly identical badge style), but because I don't know much about them, I won't speculate on what the badge is, only what I'm sure it isn't. I've informed the thelistingmoneky that their description is inaccurate and have asked them to please adjust it; we'll see what they do.

I just wanted to give you all the head's up so that none of us unwittingly wastes our money on a non-Alpha Phi item.

This could possibly be a member made badge as well back before we had the style we use today. Who knows?

I doubt it. In addition to the unusually shiny back (unusual for an antique pin, I mean), there's the lack of a full name, chapter, or initiation date.

do not, i repeat DO NOT buy anything from thelistingmonkey or fraternitytreasures - they are the same and have some very shady business practices...this is not an alpha phi badge - it is one he/someone put together...
