Carol Burnett is classic! We watched it every Saturday night and discussed it at school on Monday. We even acted out the "family" and I was always the sister Ellen. I also liked Mary Tyler Moore and Bob Newhart, even though, as a child, they were kind of hard for me to relate to, since they weren't family-centered like, say, The Partridge Family. WKRP is probably my husband's favorite show of all time!

I loved staying up late to watch reruns of the show in the 80's. I was so excited when we were at the Smithsonian this summer and got to see her famous curtain dress from the episode making fun of Gone with the Wind. We also got to see Archie Bunker's chair from All in the Family .
