Yeah, after they didn't hear from her anymore. If she shot herself, they had no way to know. If she was shot they also had no way to know.

Not really going to take the husband's word for it here, biased to say the least.

Only if it isn't on the torso. But cops shoot for the torso usually and most women commit suicide the same way so who knows.

Yes, but that was SOP for a stand off. She had at least one firearm. they weren't going to go in unless they had no other choice.

I don't want people to read your post to mean that most women who attempt and commit suicide use a firearm. As you know, men are more likely to use a firearm than women are.
