If it was originally spelled congradulations, one of the possible spell check suggestions is congregations. (Yes, I checked.  ) Maybe he selected it on accident?

I seriously blame Three's Company for that one. There was an episode where Chrissy spelled it that way on a sign and she said it was because there wasn't room to write congratulations on your graduation.
