Ok...so I am confused by why this would be a an 'honorary diploma' since she earned it.

It's 'honorary' because she didn't earn an actual diploma from the school. She earned the equivalent but not the real thing so to speak.

I'm just happy she finally conquered reading. She could have just stayed in that condition, but she chose to try harder. She's not perfect. I certainly don't watch her show to know what she's up to now, but I think all schools should welcome back those who completed their GEDs. They should be allowed to walk at graduation. I had many friends who couldn't pass state-wide exams and had to get GED's even though they completed school with acceptable or better grades.

Damn, is there a mosquito or something after her. Maybe she is getting her honorary diploma from the Joe Cocker High School of performance arts.

Wait. When did she receive her GED. I don't reeaaallly want to admit this, but I watched her reality show last season and she was still studying for it. Has she gotten it since then?

Sounds like she got it just prior to (honorary) graduating.
