Maybe I won't be able to understand because I'm not an adoptee, but could you give me some examples of her behavior that you think are excusable given the fact she was adopted?
And, at some point in her life, shouldn't she deal with her past and with her issues so that it doesn't keep resulting in harmful, "crazy" behavior? The woman is 47 years old. IMHO, she should get herself into counseling to work on her issues and help her make peace with her past.
