German Village is a good place to go as well. I suggest Katzinger's Deli for lunch or a really casual dinner.

Oh and the Book Loft is close to there if you like to read. It's in an old house and it like a maze- you can get lost wandering through it. It's one of my favorite places in Columbus.

The Hyatt Regency Convention Center.. it's attached This way the 14 year old boy can go watch video gamers while I hang out at the pool.

I know, right? I have no U of M paraphernalia on my car. My license plate is an EMU one though. My son is worried about being in Ohio State country but he has been DYING to go to one of these. He watches them online (they live stream it) for about a year now.

I really can't believe I'm doing this. Thanks for the suggestions!

Both great choices. I absolutely love going to the Book Loft.

I remember when I was 6 or 7 (just learned how to read) and my Dad took me there. He lost me and freaked out (this was before cell phones!). He had workers looking all over for me- they finally found me in a tiny room the size of a closet curled up on the floor reading a book.

So where did you end up going?
