A personal pet peeve of mine is when people think Im in Alpha Omega Pi (thanks to the movie Pumpkin) or when they make the 'O' in Omicron a long sound, like Alpha Ohhh-micron Pi...uggghhh its "Ahhh-micron" LOL!
Isn't this just a regional accent thing? My husbands cousin is an AOPi, and she says "OHmicron" not "AHmicron."

I love that Aplha Xi shirt... that's adorable!

The only thing I've seen like this for Theta before is "Kites Above Our (heart symbol)"

Welcome, Sister! Hope to see more of you around here - most of us don't bite. There's a few "sticky" posts at the top, if you'd like to sign in. You might find someone from your own chapter!

Our Pledge Books (as opposed to our New Member Manuals) have two pronounciations for most of the Greek Alphabet. I guess when you go through 3-4 months of pledging, and not 6-8 weeks of being an Alpha, you have a LOT more to memorize!
