large boobs and strapless stuff

Ok ladies.....men.....I know this is exciting for you, but I'm trying to be real here and share.

Do any of you have large breasts, and actually wear strapless stuff? Ok, here's my deal....I am a tiny little person, but thanks to grandma got 32 DDD's. I really would love to have a strapless bra that fits and wear skinny strapped and strapless things. Any suggestions???

I am a 38DDD and I went to a women's specialty lingere shop and had them measure me and got a corset-esque strapless contraption that lifts and wrangles in all in. It makes me look decent in strapless stuff. For Spagetti strap stuff, try one of the new clear bra strap bras

Thanks Trojan Girl. I've been to Nordstrom (and a place called Jacobsens), where I always go bra shopping and do the personal fitting, which I love!

However, everytime I try a strapless bra, it's always so small and I can't even shove in. Next time I go I'll ask for the corset type thing...thanks. I'd also like to have the option of buying a strapless wedding dress coming up.

I used to be a 34DDD (read the "small boobs" thread for the whole story) and found that long-line strapless bras actually worked ok, but I tried to avoid anything that required a strapless bra in general. I did go to a specialty lingerie shop in the Chicago area called LaBelle, and they had a great selection. An upscale dept store like Nordstrom or Macy's might have what you need. Try the Victoria's Secret catalog as well, they carry a wider range of sizes than the stores. Honestly, I would say avoid those clear bra straps, you can still see them and they have a fake plastic-y yucky look.

As far as wedding dresses go, I have a sort of unorthodox suggestion: Have your dress custom made, it's SOOOOO much cheaper than buying one and you'll get much better quality, not to mention exactly what you want. Have a bra built into the dress, or bone the bodice so you don't have to wear one (think Victorian-style dresses).

Although I'm not in the same DDD section, I too have issues and what I think is even if you could work it all out, it rarely looks very polished. Halters/strappless/backless are more for the small chested women of today!

I think even if you could get it done you may be uncomfy...and look it too.

Lexi,
I hear ya. I've never worn them yet...and truthfully don't think I will unless I get a reduction one day. I don't ever want to be yanking at my top or always messing with it...that would really bother me.

I'd just LOVE to wear a strappy dress some day, but I saw J-Lo on Oprah the other day in a cute summer dress, that you can wear a regular strap bra with...cute.

I agree JLo looked great! But if I had a personal trainer, stylist, hairdresser, nail person, and more I would be a knockout too!

Can we talk about her hair, I mean I didn't think a bottle of dye could do so much for a person! I was vegging out this weekend and watched 3 shows all about JLo and her fame...she used to be....well, she was dark, skin and hair, now she's all golden!
