10 minutes in I was in ecstasy
18 minutes in I had heart failure
36 minutes in I was tearing up
65 minutes in I was hyperventilating
88 minutes in I was crying and hyperventilating
It's now 4 minutes past the end and I am completely and totally spent.
That was one heck of a ride. The emotions wer OFF THE CHAIN. I didn't know what to feel half the time and, the other half, I was just feeling everything all at once. Lots of screaming. I should NEVER have tried to flat iron my hair while watching. I'm absolutely ashamed of how many burns I have, that was so stupid.....
*Alex and Lexie.....with Mark looking on? So heartbreaking.
*Hunt and Cristina in the OR broke me gave me heart failure #3 or #4, I don't remember.....
*Remember "Dream a Little Dream of Me?" The Season 5 premiere? That's where Meredith in the OR brought me.
*I thought Mandy Moore did very well but I'm glad they didn't focus on her too much.
*Chandra Wilson, if you don't get an Emmy, I swear.... In fact, I need a little statue man to be overnighted to each cast member's personal address and it better be there by 9am. That is all.

^^^Yes, all those times are accurate. Everytime something huge happened, I checked what time it was to see how much more was gonna happen. That's how I know all the minutes.

I found myself wondering some stuff.. like, did Bailey know that one person was dead when the dying one said to tell her that he loved her? I couldn't remember. I'm going to end up re-watching this. I think there were times when it was so intense that I didn't notice details.

No, she didn't know. At the end, Bailey was asking the policewoman to go find her (I think) so she must not have known she was dead.
I've got the ep on the DVR and I know I'm gonna watch it again. There will probably be things I missed the first time. And I'm still nursing my burns--never try to eat hot chili and watching a gripping show at the same time.

I haven't read anything else today and now I kinda don't want to. Just so the awesomeness of that can stick.

That was really the best Grey's episode ever...even better than the bomb.
Even though I said I wanted the "obnoxious Mercy Westers" to die, I was in complete shock when Reed took the bullet to the head and just bled. I was riveted from that point on.
I really thought that a main character was going to die...and I thought it was going to be Arizona. (I would have said Teddy if not for the fact that Kim Raver is signed for next season). Not that I wanted Arizona to die, but shows always wimp out when it comes to killing main characters. Reed and Percy were easily disposable.
A giant HELL YEAH for Cristina for becoming a true cardio surgeon. She and Avery were amazing. And as sad as Mer's miscarriage was, I think it'll probably be huge for next season!

I watched it again this evening. Wow. It made just as large an impact the second time around. I thought it wouldn't seem as good since I knew how it ended, but it was just as good anyway. And no, Bailey had no way of knowing that Reed was dead at that point. She didn't know about the shooter until Charles came in and told her.

Good day, GAers!! The season premiere will commence September 23 at our regular time (I assume, as abc.com has only the date and not the time). For a great 5 minute recap of what's happened, go here. I am excited. EW.com also has spoilers for those who are interested.

Very excited too! He's' the only Mercy-Wester I ever cared about. And if it doesn't work out with Christina and Owen, I'd love to see him hook-up with Dr. Yang.

Now, the only question is, was I right? or was she just saying that to try and play with Arizona's head?

Has anyone on the east coast watched the much hyped singing episode? I've been observing the message boards & it seems like overwhelmingly, fans have hated the singing. Many kept saying the singing took away from the drama of the show. I'm stuck waiting until later tonight since I'm in California. Rats!

I'm watching. I could take or leave the singing, although a big WOW to Sara Ramirez.
I bawled through half of it, if that's any indication.
