Tell him to shave his body hair (lots of guys are doing it nowadays) and buy Dermablend. Either that or put bandages on them. It's more comfortable than long sleeved shirts and pants.
Dermablend doesn't work very well, IMO. It is very dry(i'm not sure how else to explain it, but if you've ever used it on your body you know,) and it doesn't match skin tone very well.

I had to use the face kind for a bit...it worked great for me. And I'm pale as hayle and have trouble matching. Just a thought, although the bandages would work for him too.
