Never, ever lie about your fraternal affiliations.

I have to ask...does this happen very often? It seems obvious that you wouldn't lie about your fraternal affiliations but, does it really happen that often? Do you mean, don't lie and say you belong to ABC when you actually belong to XYZ or do you mean if you aren't in any GLO, don't lie and say you pledged, initiated, crossed, etc.?

That is dumb when people do that. People will eventually find out you are a liar-just like TPA said about the guys in her town who lied about their cushy jobs. People eventually find out-ya' know?

<hijack>
I've heard so many stories about people who are not a member of any organization but say that they are affiliated.

I too do not see the point but ... to each his own ... ?

0.2 points out of a total of 25 on a lab report DOES NOT COUNT for anything. Do NOT ask your teacher/TA/professor to change your grade and give you 0.2 points back!

Yes, that just seems weird to me.

Advice: Learn to forgive. Stop holding a grudge. It only makes things worse.

For both men AND women!

Learn how to cook at least one dinner, from soup to nuts, better than anyone else.

Always have the ingredients to one meal or part of a meal (for a potluck) on hand.

Never, ever, allow a unibrow on your face!

Minty floss is your friend.

Is there anything we disagree on?

I haven't found one thing, yet!

Good luck on the job hunt! I know you will do great!

Advice: When you shake someone's hand (especially if you are a woman), make sure it is firm. Nobody likes a limp fish in their hands-it's weird! Cheerfulgreek, I hope you give a great handshake on all your interviews! I know you will make an impact on potential employers and GOOD LUCK!

Get more sleep. (Note to self...)

Keep things in perspective. It could always be worse no matter how bad a situation is.

Don't make rash or overly emotional decisions.

Don't procrastinate.

If you're going to get a dog, adopt!

Amen. What does smell good? Burberry. No, you can't get it in the grocery store but if you want her nuzzling your neck, there are sacrifices to be made.

Keep a box of blank cards in a drawer. Whether it's a birthday, anniversary, or congrats, you will always be ready (to pretend you remembered).

lol @ the "limp fish". Yep. I have heard that before. People say that I do have a pretty firm handshake. My boss said he spoke highly of me to them, so hopefully I'll be able to back up what he said. I'm meeting with them on Monday and Tuesday. It's not really for a position now, but after I graduate next year. I want to be a veterinary cardiologist, so I'll need to do my residency under a Dr. who specializes in internal medicine. I'm hoping everything works out for me. And thank you so much for the advice and encouraging remarks.

Have a wonderful weekend, als463.

Shout this from the rooftop!

I hate getting limp wristed handshakes. I see it as a sign of disrespect and disregard, especially when it comes from a man because he is assuming I want "handshake chivalry" and/or can't handle a firm shake. If people are not physically weak and fragile, PLEASE give a firm handshake.
