I started filling out the online form, but stopped at the part where I was supposed to put in my gpa. I am aware that grades are important, but throughout high school, I will admit I was not a good student. I'm not going to make excuses for myself. My grades really hit an all time low my junior year, and of course that is the year that they want my gpa for! The thing is, I really stepped it up my senior year. I got my act together and my grades improved A LOT. So I'm pretty bummed out that those aren't the grades I'm going to be judged on.

I'm not here to ask all of you what I should do, because obviously I know that nothing can be done about my grades at this point, and I just have to live with it. But my question is, has anyone here had, or know someone who had a successful rush even though your grades weren't that great? Let me know!
I am not sure, but I have never heard of junior year grades being used for recruitment.

Typically, it is your final cumulative GPA from HS that they will be looking at.

You put it on the form, then they will cross-check that info with your University to be sure that it is correct.

With that said, if your GPA falls below the Panhellenic's HS GPA requirement or below the GPA requirements of the individual sororities, you can expect to have a rough time. Generally speaking, a chapter is not going to make an exception to its requirements and bid someone who doesn't meet the grade requirements.
