My thoughts go to him and his family, especially his two little girls.

My thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.
Reading that little synopsis made me think of my family. My grandma's side has a history of diabetes and all of her brothers (along with my grandma) died of complications of diabetes---most revolving around strokes and aneurisms.

Yeah two little girls. I missed the particular episode of the apprentice, but on one of them, he got a call from his older daughter that she might also have diabetes and he was really upset. I saw the end of the eppy and he told Donald about it. Donald said a very nice comment back. Plus, there was an article in a people magazine about him and his girls. His girls actually live in Phoenix, hence why I remember it so vividly (since I'm a born Arizonian).
I think his girls are like 8 and 10. They are pretty young.
edit: Just looked it up on wikipedia. His daughters are 10 and 5. Here's the link...

Higher incidence in family members of people with Type I diabetes. I can understand why he would be upset since these patients have a shorter lifespan than people without the disease, although cerebral aneurysms are not related.

What a horrible thing. I always liked the guy, and yes, he is definitely "hot".
I'm definitely suspecting that they will find the surgery was somehow responsible, but sadly, it may be during the post-mortem. I sincerely hope he somehow makes a miraculous recovery. God Bless him and his family.

I'd be very surprised if it had anything to do with his appendectomy. Subarachnoid hemorrhages are almost always the result of ruptured aneurysms which are congenital in nature in the vast majority in cases. The timing of this rupture would then be completely coincidental. The story of "worst headache in my life" is classic for ruptured aneurysm.
