Are you willing to spend an arm & a leg (not including parking, which is extra)? The only place i've stayed is the Radisson by Fisherman's Wharf, but it is extremely expensive, and honestly not that great a place.
I'd suggest staying in a city outside of SF, someplace like Hayward (if you stay there, go with the Hampton), Dublin, etc. From those places, it's still easy to get into SF---you can drive or take the BART.
