I didn't like the ending.

I liked the rest but cringed at a few parts because it was failed humor, failed suspense, or failed drama.

I won't be buying this on dvd and watching it a trillion times like I watch my "Why Did I Get Married" dvd. Maybe it will grown on me. We shall see.

I didn't like the ending either.

First of all I didn't think that the impact of the accident would have been enough to kill him. It just reminds me of when they kill a character off of a soap opera or sitcom because the contract ended or something.
And the lack of real emotion towards his death at the end didn't help matters. I initially thought that it was going to be Mike that was being honored at that little ceremony.

Then there were the other issues I had with it. I hate how Tyler can't find a better way to "give information" about characters and how he uses corny ways of putting the name of the movie in. (for example the scene where she said "why did I get married too?" )

I still don't feel like we truly KNOW what was going on with Patricia and Gavin.

And as for Diane and Terry. . . I'm just like

I agree 100% with ALL of this.

I'm annoyed with Tyler Perry right now. I've resolved myself with the fact that the only TP movies that I will really like and watch nonstop are "Diary of a Mad..." and the first "Why Did I Get...." I'm not trying to support TP anymore. His movies are now relegated to Dollar Cinema, RedBox, or OnDemand.

I liked it more the 2nd time around. It made more sense and the storyline was less rushed and fractured.

The humor, suspense, and drama were less failed. The scene with a drunk Malik Yoba was still funny--but I think it was supposed to be at certain points. It is TP, afterall.

The ending was less abrupt and made more sense.

I noticed some things that I didn't see the first time. I noticed continuity issues such as when Janet had on the white shoes when she went to the job but they were black when she stored across the grass--and then white again at the hospital. I also noticed how she did a JJ/MJ dance move in the parking lot as Yoba was getting into his car.

I take back what I said about Black folks having low expectations in liking this movie. This movie was okay in the longrun..."Precious" sucked.
