The bolded I definitely agree with. I didnt want to see it but I was out voted. I left the theater wondering what the point of the movie was. Were they trying to show that nobody but a passive aggressive weak cop actually makes it in Brooklyn? lol. Because by the end of the movie there was no conclusion. The characters only intersected in random bumps into each other (literally). I think there was an attempt to make the movie a mash up of crash, training day, and in too deep. This attempt failed. Horribly.
