Duh, that's my point. But between the comments here, on FB, etc., you have folx bemoaning on one hand that we don't step like we did in the 90s. Then on the other hand you have those critical of ZTA, because of their taking steps from the 90s.

Duh, me.

I noticed the bolded. I think that has to do with the type of group in question. A BGLO team that consciously says "we're taking it back to the 1990s...let's go back into OUR stepping vault" would get props from those of us who like that. Except for the Matrix because I always hated Matrix themes. A non-BGLO team that was taught how to step by a BGLO sorority and seemingly copies a bunch of old steps looks more like "as seen on youtube...we're on some brand new isht!!! we're doing big thangs!!! yay us!!!!"
