So her words: She is a junior now and is going abroad next year so she won't be able to spend much time in A Phi, but she is happy she will have the sorority connections post-grad. She still would have rather been in Tahiti or Paris but whatever. Since A Phi is new they don't have a rep yet and she is ok with that over a bad rep. She's trying to meet more of the fraternity boys now!

If she chooses to be an active alumna, she will have a lifetime of wonderful times in Alpha Phi. College is only four years (or less, in your friend's case). Life's longer than that.
