I have to agree with you. R. Kelly was being extremely evasive with his responses. I also believe the interview harmed him, more than it helped him. He wasn't able to come straight out and answer questions, and it was obvious to me that he was lying. I don't like to judge anyone, but it was so obvious.
He really avoided the questions about Aaliyah. I understand he was trying to respect her, but I didn't think it would have been wrong for him to simply say yes I was married to her, or no I wasn't. It was his way of avoiding the question.
I made sure I was up for that interview. I was calling so many people, just to stay awake. I was so proud of myself.
