Why you joined Alpha Gam and/or your fave memory of AGD: I joined Alpha Gamma Delta because of the women in the chapter--the love they shared for one another & because I wanted to give back to the organization that gave so much to me. Years before I was ever to be initiated (2005, to be exact) the sisters at Theta O opened their home & their hearts to me. My favorite memory is of that winter formal, Red Rose Formal. The girls in the chapter all switched dates & some sisters took another sisters' boyfriend all to make sure that I would be able to attend. That night was unforgettable. And, I attended at least one formal each year--every year with a different sister as my escort. The women of Alpha Gamma Delta showed me sisterhood before I was even their sister. |
