Remember that the hatch only exploded in the timeline in which Jack was still on the island with Kate, Sawyer, Juliet, the temple, etc.

In the timeline where the plane never crashed, the island was underwater.

I am thinking parallel timelines and Jack is the only one who "remembers" both versions.

Aaaaaaah, I see. I was confused as to how that fit in, as well. But now that you've explained it, it all makes sense.

I have such a bad memory. And when it comes to Lost, you need a good one in order to keep up. I should have never started watching this show.

Whoa to Charlie's "I was supposed to die" comments. Creepy.
Who are these temple-dwellers?!?
Was Richard on the Black Rock? Is that what Flocke meant by his "good to see you out of those chains" comment?

Best episode of the season, imo. LOVED it!
