While I understand the desire to want to be in a sorority while in college, the NPHC organizations expect their members to be active after college in alumnae chapters and really honor their lifetime committment. Therefore you should not choose to pursue membership in either organization just because those are the only 2 NPHC sororities on your campus. If you just know one of them is for you, that's one thing but perhaps it's one of the other 2 that will better fit you and that's why you can't make up your mind. I'm not saying that's the case but it's better to research all 4 NPHC sororities. If you think that one might be a better fit and it's not offered at your school, look into how it might be possible to bring that sorority to your school or wait until after you graduate and pursue membership on the alumnae level where you live. If you plan to be active after college (which you should if wanting to join one of our organizations), then you want to make sure you make the right decision because it is a life decision and it cannot be changed after being inducted. The oldest member of my alumnae chapter is 94 years old and she has been active since college. Think about it and do the research. Good Luck!
