LOL! My Dad, 2 of my brothers, and 2 of my SILs are all Greek and they can't understand why I'm so involved as an alumna.

Weird, isn't it that people can have the same opportunities but end up with different ideas of their responsibilities in the end?!

This is the only reason why I've never asked my mom to AI into AOII. I just don't think she'd do anything once she joined. She always wanted to be an AOII in college but didn't have the money. Her first roommate was an AOII Pledge. She was so excited when my sister pledged AOII. I don't think she'd find it meaningful as an alumna.
