I know I told this story in the D & R thread, but I got rejected from eHarmony. I think it was because of two things: 1) I wasn't ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY SUPER DEFINITE on the kid issue 2) I said looks were very important. Of course, often my "OMG he's gorgeous" is 95% of the population's "what the hell are you thinking?", but there's no way to get that across on eHarmony.

As for PoF, one of my friends met her latest boyfriend on there. He is now her EX boyfriend and she had to change her phone number because of him.

I find that so odd that they would reject you because of that.

Stupid eharmony. I would say 75-80% of the guys I'm matched with on eharmony state "maybe" as wanting children or not. For me, I want kids. I may sound selfish, but I'm not getting any younger and quite honestly I don't want to waste my time with a guy he "maybe" wants children.

I'm also a wee bit older than you are.

I just can't do the whole online dating thing in any way shape or form. There's no romance or mystery in it and I've realized how much I need those things. YMMV.

And my man is about to become my ex too, if he doesn't get his lazy ass together. Sounds like PoF should be called PoD for "Plenty of Dogs".
