Depends on the school I would think. I know somebody who took class their freshman summer at my alma mater.

Yeah.

A group of us were picked to take pre-freshman summer courses. It was a program to help integrate academically strong minorities and athletes into college. We all had 12 credits and over 3.0 GPAs going into our freshman years, which was also beneficial in a GLO sense.
