I think the best thing would be to have a clear narrative voiceover in the video or to segregate the video and have clear titles for each portion or captions ala picknic or something.

Talking should be encouraged, but only if the recruiter has something to say. Otherwise it sounds stupid. I have seen the difference b/t party one and party two where in one we were almost silent and the other we were encouraged to cheer,etc. it was SOOOO fake and weird b/c the girls didn't know what we were laughing or cheering or clapping about. It is very lame.
