This probably depends on the school, but when I went through recruitment they didn't even look at my high school GPA. I went through informal recruitment and it was all upperclassmen, and even for formal recruitment at my school (which is in the spring), I'm pretty sure they look at first semester grades for the freshmen rather than their high school GPA. Of course, things could vary at different schools, but I wouldn't be too worried about it.
