First two rounds!

Hey everyone! I'm so sorry to keep everyone waiting but I'm still having computer issues As for any questions as to how ranking is:

So we have our "top ten" and we rank our "bottom four" where the first is the one we would still like to visit and the fourth is the one we really felt uncomfortable with and couldn't see ourselves being in.

So the first round we all met at one central location.. everyone looked so beautiful and they were all so excited. We had 15 minute rounds with each house in a seperate rooms which went by so fast.
There were a lot of houses that I had great conversations with and I felt so comfortable with. There were also a few that I just felt awkward with and kind of forced the conversation. The only thing I could remember about most houses was what they were wearing and all I could really base my top ten on were basically their colors and philanthropies. After the first round our schedule goes down to ten!
So here we are, on Sunday. Round two, house rounds. I was cut from two of my top ten so the four out of the running are:

Alpha Omicron Pi
Alpha Xi Delta
Delta Gamma
Kappa Alpha Theta

From that list, I firmly believe you guys can figure out what ten houses I went to. I really loved how all the rooms were decorated but I realized that I don't like the idea of "dormers" because I want all my stuff together in one space, it's just a personal thing. A lot of my opinions changed about sororities and I'm really glad I got two of the one's that I "cut" because they definitely changed my opinions. I'm for sure living in and I can really picture myself in a lot of sisterhoods/sororities.

Now it's time to wait until next Saturday to see what six houses I go for philanthropy day!

I love that you are keeping such an open mind! When I went through recruitment I had my eyes on only ONE sorority and didn't know ANYTHING about the others, luckily I also went in with an open mind when I got the chance to visit the other houses! I wouldn't be where I call home if I went where i "thought" i belonged! Just keep your positive attitude and you will find home =]

Aww, i'm sorry to hear you wont be a sister, but I'm glad the first 2 rounds went so well for you! Having all 10 rounds on house tours is exhausting, but i'm glad you enjoyed it so much! Keeping an open mind is so important, it's great to see being so open to meeting so many people. Cant wait to hear how next weekend goes

If I remember right (and I dont promise I do), I believe that 4 of the 14 sorority chapters with houses have dormers.

Good luck tomorrow and Sunday! I have friends in almost all the chapters, so I cant wait to hear where you end up!

I wonder why I only remember one. I do remember many houses that had attics that were divided up into a sleeping room and a study/living room, but those were not for the entire house...maybe 6-8 girls. Meh, it's been too many years.
