I love love love it when peeps come here and make a GC account for the sole purpose of posting haterade about a chapter on their campus that is facing disciplinary action. It makes them seem so cool.

A thread will be like "XYZ sorority suspended for hazing" and here comes AmandaABC with one post to tell us that "OMG XYZ is so terrible and they totally circle their new members' fat!!"

It's like, "thanks Katie Couric for telling us."

We don't care.

I'd say the chapter is due the apology. No sanctions of this nature were given to the DG chapter this year. As their recruitment is in the fall, a penalty would already have occurred. Better not to comment unless you have first-hand knowledge.

I reported them b/c I want it the original post off the sight so I just put some BS in the "reason" line. I have been a member of this site for over a year, I didn't join just to gossip and I didn't realize how that post sounded until I got bad reactions for it. We have members saying that the girls in the video are "slip-throughs", insinuating they are too ugly to be in that chapter, and mentioning their actual names so I do feel a little "harassed" for mentioning an incident that I was told really happened with the same chapter and thought might affect their punishment. Once again, I am sorry, I will stop attempting to defend myself and I will be more careful with information on this site. I know it's touchy.

What/who did she report and where? Did she out the 3 chicks in the video?

It looks like she had several other posts and deleted them.

I subscribe to this thread but don't get every post that goes up. This chick isn't running on all cylinders, methinks...

I concur!!! I am pretty new here and was fairly recently initiated. We were never called Baby ADPIs or Baby lions, etc. ALthough we weren't called pledges, for the most part, we were called alphas and the alpha class. The first time I heard this it was actually at another chapter's philanthropy project and although I thought it was cute for about the forst two girls that were introduced that way. After about the fifth it was down right annoying and they announced hteir WHOLE PC this way, and then a few girls from other chapters that were participating in their philanthropy project. However I was called a Baby ADPi a few weeks ago by a woman in another GLO that I was being introduced to. This was after I had been initiated for a month and honestly I was down right offended.
