A snuggie.

ETA: Ok serious now, I would suggest a blanket (although i'm an avid snuggie-hater) but if you anticipate standing and sitting a lot, then a blanket would be useless. I would find a really warm jacket/pullover or the like. My dad has this reeeeeeeally warm Giants pullover that I used when I went up in the mountains to go play in the snow. It kept me not only dry, but super warm! I coupled that with some head covering (I wore a baseball cap, and then pulled a knit cap over it) and some gloves, and I was set. That and some "long johns" under some pants should keep you nice and warm.

But seriously, I've found it a good idea to keep your head and feet warm! That is where you release a lot of body heat. I grew up somewhere without seasons and learned this the hard way when I went to college: Hats don't always look great but they work wonders(they look goofy on me and I refused to wear them till I had to live in cold weather lol) And I've noticed that a good pair of boots with warm socks under warms my whole body too.

I don't think I want to give you any advice because a) you're going to the one game I would have LOVED to attend, and b) you're rooting for the wrong team.

But seriously... I was in Boston on one of the coldest days of the year in 2002, when the Patriots had their first Superbowl parade. I was outside for hours. What I wore/brought with me:

- wore 2 pairs of socks and brought 2 more (just in case the first ones got wet/cold)
- heavy boots
- long johns and jeans
- t-shirt, long-sleeve shirt, sweatshirt
- heavy winter ski jacket
- wore 1 pair of cloth gloves, brought another
- heavy gloves
- scarf
- hat

I brought hand warmer packs (which also work well on your feet). I wouldn't bother bringing blankets, because I know from experience that the seats in Fenway are extremely small, and you won't have a lot of room to bring additional items. Hopefully once you're there, the other people around you will provide extra heat.

Same with me! But seriously... don't be one of those girls who cares more about her looks than the weather. I've seen it too many times before, and those girls end up bitching to the people they're with about how cold they are. Be prepared to look like a dork. I guarantee it's better than being miserable.

Have fun!
