It's funny, one of my closest friends is an Alpha Sig. I think I will ask him if he ever heard of these clowns.

Same here! I know a good amount of the Alpha Sig chapter at my school. I'm sure none of them would have a clue.
I would imagine a high school fraternity would experience a ton of senseless hazing, though.

You know, I just realized the OP said he was an Alpha Sig in the 80s. The fact that he talks like an 8th grader makes me lose faith in our society even more.
And the fact that there's no history as to how or when the high school Alpha Sigs started says a lot about the organization.

I know I read his first post, but I forgot he had mentioned he was in high school in the 80s. I was thinking he was there currently. Wow. His spelling and grammar "skills" make me sad.. especially considering he's in, or damn near close to, his 40s.
And I just went back and read his original post. He obviously edited it from how it originally read. "Alph" now = Alpha, and "fraturnity" now = fraternity. But look at how many things are still wrong, even after his editing:
