Clemson University is planning an Ag Awareness week to spread the message about the importance of Ag to everyone on campus. Since our school and most Ag schools are land grant institutions everyone at that university should have an appreciation for ag.
The idea for Ag week came about when myself and another SA sister got into a heated discussion with someone from an unrelated major began bad mouthing the Ag department and made untrue claims about how the college would no longer be a part of the university!! Every EDUCATED individual should have an appreciation for Agriculture and realize how much it influences every part of their life!
The Tau chapter will be VERY involved in helping the Ag & Bio Council plan this event.
I hope every Ag student realizes how important it is to get the word out. The t-shirt for our Ag week will be...
