I agree. You guys may be heading for a disaster if you do not pull in some alumni to assist with this undertaking. I suggest trying again. A better suggestion is to rent a place to meet, party, etc.

Renting is a very good idea for new groups. Rent, get established, save some $, then someday, you'll be able to build.

This. If you're just starting out, renting may make more sense. You can use the time to learn how to manage a household, save money and build support.
