I REALLY dont like Sloan without the facial hair.

I missed the first half but don't think I'll go back and rewatch the beginning since I caught the end. Alex looked ok but he's such a miserable sadsack he annoys me most of the time. When he was yelling at the big brown-eyed doctor (who is also grating so far), all I kept thinking was, "hey, loud-mouth! Preemie in your arms! Simmer down!"
They've completely sent the Chief off-track this season. I don't know where Shonda is going with him. And I don't mind Sloan without the facial hair but I still TOTALLY don't buy him with Little Grey. Completely ridiculous pairing.
And am I mean to say I have not at all been sad for Meredith to have much less screen time so far this season? I honestly wouldn't miss her if she left the show altogether.
And if Izzie IS pregnant as the previews suggest, oh good lawd, I don't know what...

LOL Has a show ever kicked off a title character???
*Happy, perky Meredith freaks me out.
*Wooooow. Arizona was able to stand up to the Chief without crying. Progress.
*Callie still cracks me up!
*Cristina going rogue=wow
*I can't wait for next week! I swear, each ep is just more and more awesome! Seriously.

One Tree Hill lost Lucas which is basically who the whole thing was originally based on.

Yeah, I get that. Lots of shows do that, but it's a little different when it's actually called "Grey's" Anatomy. That kinda throws a wrench in it.
Though I fully believe the show could survive without her.

lol true but you'd still have little grey right?
The one I want to leave is Izzie. She makes me want to puke every time she's on.

Especially now that she's being mean to Alex!

I think the Chief could definitely be headed for some sort of write-out in the script soon. I do not miss Izzie, not at all. Nor do I care much for the new people, except Arizona. I love her, she's made of awesome.
If you read the Grey's writer's blog, they explain Meredith's lack of screen time. During the first part of the season, she was heavily pregnant, so they tried to minimize her on-time, on her feet scenes (considerate of them given she was 8 months pregnant). This week's episode is the first time we've seen her full body, and it's her first episode post-delivery.
The liver transplant was a nifty idea to write her out for a bit for the baby stuff, and I kind of wonder if that's the reason why Izzie's gone AWOL as well (in real life, she just finished adopting a baby girl from Korea). I'm a bit mystified though, as to why we haven't had any follow-up on that story arc yet. Meredith tells Thatcher I'll do this surgery for Lexie, and then maybe we can talk about rebuilding our screwy relationship, and then he promptly is not mentioned again. Bizarre.

I totally agree! I think the show has cooked right along without missing a beat since her role has been minimized. Her whiny, squinty, lispy voiced character has always been a flaw of the show imo.

Nah, I miss Meredith!
Do you think they are planning to get rid of the chief...? Seems like the writers are making him very un-likeable.
