Just wanted to share that I'm joining the Chicago alumnae chapter and the Epsilon Chapter for Founders Day this weekend. I'm so excited! I've missed being an active Gamma Phi, even though I've only been an alumna since May.

Thanks...a Gamma Phi sister, also a firefighter, gave me some encouragement last year and I went for it!

What's funny is that our department has a pink-colored helmet that I think is meant to be used for recruits who mess up during the academy - the offender has to wear it for a certain amount of time. Since 95% of the recruits are males, I guess it's supposed to be an "embarrassment". Of course, I would love to rock the pink helmet...maybe put a crescent on it.
