You very first step should be to see if there are any women on your campus that are interested in a sorority like group. If so, you should then focus on developing friendships within that group. Only then should you begin to think about starting a sorority. I think many girls believe that they must create a sorority and then get girls to join. I believe that you will have a much better and more meaningful organization if you design it around a group of women who are already close friends. That way your group will be characteristic of who you are as women and friends. Your sorority will be something that you create as friends around your shared values and beliefs.
In a nutshell: Don't create a sorority to find sisterhood. Find sisterhood and then create.
