Cycle days.
This idea comes from a friend of mine, a Delta who worked for my competing newspaper in Knoxville. She suggested this in an internal message (e-mail's predecessor) about a decade ago.
She suggests that women be allowed to take days off, with pay, so that you can get your stuh together. As she put it , what good are you to yourself and those around you when you're all cranky and *****y?
