No, I asked my brother if he thought it was a good idea. And he basically told me that I was already stretched too thin between starting college and our family's situation (not just financial). He said that I should just wait a little bit, maybe even until sophomore year before settling in any permanent groups. Like I said, I think I had already made up my mind about withdrawing. I do regret it a little bit, but I didn't want to away someone else's chance at getting in either. So I just decided to drop out and focus more on school for now.
