have her do a fun scavenger hunt to find you!! like just leave her little notes, etc around campus for her to find and have it lead to you!
I really wanted to do that for my little in my service org, but didn't think of it in time.
Scavenger hunts, depending on the org, campus, and state law, are instances of hazing. Even if they're fun, it's an insurance/risk management issue.
I really hate that something so innocent is considered hazing
Unfortunately, everything that is now considered hazing by some national orgs is likely that way because some idiot screwed it up and made it NOT innocent (e.g. "Hey lets do a scavenger hunt, and break into this yard and steal this old lady's garden knome.)
