Funny as in you agree with their analogy, or funny because you think it's way off base?

I actually kind of agree with their analogy. From everything I have read, it does seem that Jon wants it to end because he won't be in it. If he's cut that means his paycheck (i.e. the money he uses to spend on Ed Hardy Tshirts) will go away and he'd actually *gasp* have to get a real job.

This whole cease-and-desist order is not because he's trying to look out for his family, he just wants his cut, and if he can't get it, no one's gonna get it.

Funny because that's probably exactly what's happening.

I mean, if the cease-and-desist was about the welfare of the kids or something like that, then I would think that he would have pulled this a long time ago (like back when he and Kate started talking divorce).

This is clearly about money. It happened too quickly for it not to be. TLC says that he and the kids were just happily taping like a week ago.

Exactly! I mean had Jon actually worried about the welfare of his kids, the separation and imminent divorce would have been the perfect outlet to cancel the show.....but noooo, he was making money, why stop that gravy train?

Of course it's about money. How else will he stay in Ed Hardy shirts?
