NAME OF YOUR ORGANIZATION: Alpha Pi Phi Sorority

COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY: Carleton University, Ottawa

DATE OF FOUNDING: February 23rd, 2009

NUMBER OF MEMBERS: 6 founding mothers, 10 active initiated members and 13 actives (in their pledging period)

DO YOU HAVE HOUSING?:No

ARE YOU REQUIRED TO HAVE LIABILTY INSURANCE? No

ARE YOU A MEMBER OF YOUR SCHOOLS PANHELLENIC COUNCIL? No

HAS YOUR COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY TRIED TO MAKE YOUR LOCAL SORORITY AFFILIATE WITH A NATIONAL NPC SORORITY? No... none of the greek organizations on campus, panhellenic or not, are recognized by the university as individuals. the student body recognizes greek council as a whole, but not as individuals.

DO YOU CONDUCT RUSH WITH THE NPC SORORITIES ON YOUR CAMPUS?: No (this is fairly common of all "locals")

DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER LOCAL GREEK ORGANIZATIONS ON YOUR CAMPUS?: Yes. Xi Delta Theta and Nu Sigma Pi (they're also University of Ottawa based as well), Delta Psi Delta and Tau Sigma Phi

Hmmm my alma mater. So interesting to see yet another local to go along with the two internationals. On the fraternity side there are no locals. I always find that interesting.
